How to Steer Clear of Auto Warranty Scams

I found a green notification card in my mail today from National Vehicle Headquarters informing my vehicle warranty is expiring and should call them back soon to extend the warranty. I knew that my car warranty was not expiring as I bought this new car only 4 months ago. I knew that this was some kind of scam and did some research online on this. After some search I found out it was indeed a auto warranty scam.
